South Adams County Water and Sanitation District Investigating Low Pressure in the Reunion Area Irrigation System
South Adams County Water and Sanitation District (SACWSD) is investigating low pressure in its irrigation system in the Reunion area. This is a result of the District receiving numerous inquiries from residential customers related to pressure issues in their own private irrigation systems. In recent weeks, in response to customer calls, SACWSD personnel have discovered operating valves to be in the closed position, which we believe was the result of independent third-party contractors closing the valves as they are doing work related to new development in the community.
SACWSD is currently in the process of verifying that all distribution system irrigation water main line valves are in the open position. At the time we found the closed valves, we believed we resolved all outstanding irrigation system pressure issues. However, this week SACWSD has received additional inquiries related to residential irrigation system pressure issues in a different part of Reunion. As a result, this has prompted SACWSD personnel to further investigate the system pressure issues in the community.
SACWSD sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience you are experiencing with your irrigation system and we hope to discover the reason(s) for the irrigation system pressure issues as soon as possible. If you are experiencing irrigation system pressure issues or have questions related to your irrigation system, please send an e-mail to the SACWSD irrigation inbox at email@example.com or call the SACWSD main telephone line at 303-288-2646.
By contacting the District with this information you greatly help us to identify the area(s) that are being affected by this situation. SACWSD personnel request the public’s help in notifying us when you see a party not affiliated with SACWSD operating distribution main line valves. When contacting us, please include your name, phone number and/or e-mail address; property address, and irrigation system issue/question so that we can properly respond to your request.
