South Adams County Water and Sanitation District has contracted with Garney Construction to construct a 24-inch water transmission main in Rosemary Street (from E 80th Avenue to E 84th Avenue). Construction of this project will have traffic impact in Rosemary Street beginning on Monday, March 16th and these impacts will continue for approximately 30 calendar days (dependent on progress and weather).
Emergency vehicles will be able to travel both directions on Rosemary during construction with the assistance from flaggers that will be located on both the north and south end of the limits of construction (which will vary by the day). All other vehicles will have detours between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in which southbound lanes of Rosemary Street will be detoured at 85th Avenue to Quebec Street to 80th Avenue. Northbound traffic will remain open throughout construction.
Please contact Ethan Louis (Garney Construction) at (814) 528-3089 with any questions, concerns, or issues during the construction on Rosemary Street. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this project may have.
