District Employment Application

Water Quality Maintenance Technician
Four Temporary, Full-Time Positions

The South Adams County Water and Sanitation District (District), dedicated to providing affordable and sustainable water resources to its customers, is seeking qualified individuals to fill four temporary, full-time, Water Quality Maintenance Technician Positions. 
These are full time positions; will consider part-time, at least 20 hours.  Start immediately. 
These positions will provide assistance to the Water Treatment Plant Operators and Maintenance Personnel with various water operations and maintenance duties including: field testing and maintenance of  District fire hydrants; repair and maintenance of new and existing landscape irrigation systems; perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, buildings and grounds, as needed to keep District equipment in good operating condition.  Exposure to many aspects of water treatment, supply, and distribution will be provided.

Qualified candidates should have experience using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment and landscaping equipment.  Candidates shall provide a valid Colorado Drivers License and have a clean driving record.  Background check required.

General Manager

The South Adams County Water and Sanitation District is looking for a District Manager to oversee all aspects of the District’s water and wastewater systems including operations, short and long range planning, financial management and District administration. 

This position requires graduation from a four-year college with a Bachelors degree in business administration, public administration, civil engineering, environmental science, water resources engineering, or related field, including a minimum of 10 years of  water or wastewater utility management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Distribution & Collection Systems Manager

Under the direction of the District’s General Manager, the position will manage and direct the District’s Distribution and Collection Systems Department including the review, inspection, acceptance, mapping, maintenance, and renewal/replacement of water distribution and wastewater collection system infrastructure. This position is responsible for the supervision of a development review team, maintenance team and GIS.
